Refund policy

Pure Apnea courses are conducted by Onpoint Spearfishing and Freediving and are taught by active, qualified Pure Apnea Instructors or assisted by Level 3 Master Freedivers. Students are required to reach the standards held by Pure Apnea for that course under the supervision of an active instructor.

Refund Policy – Courses and Workshops

Onpoint Spearfishing and Freediving reserves the right to postpone any course dates, workshops, and charters if the event is deemed unsafe due to environmental factors (i.e. weather, ocean, river or dam conditions). The events offered are dependent on minimum numbers. If there are insufficient numbers of students to run a course or closure of an affiliated company an alternative date will be arranged within 2 calendar months. Failing to rearrange a follow up date can result with the customer being eligible for a full refund.

No refund will be issued in the event of an outbreak, lockdown or restrictions that come into effect due to Covid-19. Onpoint Spearfishing and Freediving will notify you as soon as possible to reschedule a convenient alternate date. We will not reimburse any travel, accommodation or other expenses you may have occurred in the event of a cancellation.

Onpoint Spearfishing and Freediving will text or email you to confirm your course attendance 7 days prior to your course date. Failing to reply to either will be an assumption of your attendance as originally booked. Non-attendance, or cancellation within 7 days of the course start date will result in the loss of your deposit. You will be subject to normal rebooking conditions if you wish to participate in another event (rebooking fee $250). Reasonable consideration to unforeseen circumstances will be accounted for. If you have booked as a pair or as a group but a student is unable to attend, the remaining students are still expected to attend. Cancelations made more than 21 days prior to the event start date can be eligible for a full refund excluding processing fees.

Customers may be eligible for a refund if they have been identified as permanently medically unfit to dive. A dive medical is required at least 48hrs before the event start date by a practicing General Practitioner stating that the student is permanently unfit to dive. Onpoint Spearfishing and Freediving will not issue a refund if you simply change your mind about your event booked.

You can always contact us for any refund question at info@onpointspearfishing.com.au

Refund Policy – Availability
Courses, workshops and charters are in high demand during peak seasons. All events offered are subject to availability and we recommend booking weeks in advance to avoid missing out. Dates can be found on our website onpointspearfishing, these are guidelines and are subject to change. Please contact before completing a payment transaction to ensure there is still availability. If Onpoint Spearfishing and Freediving needs to cancel an event for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible to reschedule to a convenient alternate date. We will not reimburse any travel, accommodation or other expenses you may have occurred in the event of a cancelation.

Refund/Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.  To start a return, you can contact us at onpointspearfishing@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  You can always contact us for any return question at onpointspearfishing@gmail.com.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Gift vouchers expire 1 calendar year from purchase date and no refund will be issued after the expired date. Expiry dates are clearly shown on the gift voucher. Cancelation to a course or workshop 7 days from the event start date will result in a partial loss of the gift voucher amount and normal rebooking conditions apply.
